Moving to a new country
is always dificult in terms of managing a new budget
with different prices.
The following values are for general indication
only, and the monthly expenses of utilities are
per estimate and are here to give you an ideia
of cost in Lisbon (it all depends how you live).
Outside of the Great Lisbon area some prices might
be lower. Location is an important element in the
house rental budget. Contact us for further information
on prices for renting and buying or any other specific
values you may need (such as schooling).
Beware that despite the fact that earning capacity
of portuguese os significantly lower than the european
average, the cost of living in Lisbon is higher
than spanish cities. Likewise, cars are very expensive
(especially diesel cars) because of the 21% VAT
tax on vehicles applied in Portugal, on top of
another tax «IA » (Automobile
Tax) based on the cubic cylinders of the car. |
